About OLÉ!
Learning has no age limit.
OLÉ! brings curious adults together to keep learning, sharing ideas, and discovering new interests in Anchorage.
What is lifelong learning?
It is the habit of staying curious throughout life—welcoming new subjects, experiences, and conversations simply because learning makes life richer.
What is OLÉ!?
Opportunities for Lifelong Education is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to give Anchorage adults a place to continue learning together.
Designed for learning together
OLÉ! is affiliated with the University of Alaska Anchorage. Courses are open to any adult and are especially designed for people age 50 and older. Classes meet at locations around Anchorage, including the UAA campus, and some are offered online.
Two eight-week semesters run each year: fall from late September through the week before Thanksgiving, and spring from February through April with a one-week March break. Hikes, tours, and special activities may also be offered between semesters and during summer.
